TGA
The architect of the fountain is unknown, and it reflects the transition period between the baroque and empire styles. It is a four-sided square fountain with a nearly square rectangular plan. Built by the seaside, the fountain stands on a rectangular base on a three-stepped platform. The platform visible today is not original. The corners of the fountain are emphasized with engaged columns with capitals and bases. Its dome, supported by small turrets on all four sides, is surrounded by wide eaves, and these wide stone eaves are raised outward. The eaves are adorned with empire decorations.
On two opposite sides, the projecting troughs are supported by S-shaped baroque consoles decorated with acanthus leaves. On the faucet panel with a round arch and a shallow niche, acanthus and shell motifs can be seen on the keystone. The facade surfaces outside the niche are ornamented with abstract branch and flower motifs in low relief technique.
There is a total of thirty-two-line inscription on the four sides of the fountain. The tughra on the wide face of the fountain belong to Selim III.
