The TED Ankara College School Museum, which conveys the historical accumulation of TED Ankara College Foundation Schools from its founding year, 1931, to the present day to future generations, is located on the ground floor of the administrative building on the İncek campus. Opened on 21 May 2008, the museum was granted “Private Museum” status by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Before entering the school museum, visitors are greeted by a model of the school buildings on Ziya Gökalp Caddesi, used from 1937 to 2005, made faithful to the original. Upon entering the museum, the first of the striking photographs is a large-format photograph taken in 1938 of Semra Baydar, then a TED Ankara College student, pinning the TED badge onto Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's jacket during the Youth and Sports Day ceremony at 19 Mayıs Stadium.
In the museum, in galleries composed of various themes, there are school, activity, teacher and student photographs from past to present, a representative classroom, important historical documents, diplomas, papers, lesson and office tools, musical instruments, handwritten sheet music, yearbook photographs and information of approximately 30 thousand graduates, and a sports corner and a computer using software that includes the “Who Are We” game. TED Ankara College organizes museum trip programs so that its students can learn the history of the school, which is almost as old as the Republic; in addition, parents, graduates, and student groups from other schools also show great interest in the museum.
