Sultan II. Bayezid’in bir veziri tarafından yapıldığı söylenmektedir. Bundan dolayı bu isimle anılmıştır. 6.10x7.40 metre iç ölçülerinde, caminin girişinde ana mekana ekli, 3.70 metre derinliğinde bir son cemaat yeri vardır. Üzeri çatı ile örtülüdür. Beden duvarları üç sıra tuğla, bir sıra kesme taş ile örülmüştür. Bir dönem, mülkiyeti özel şahısların eline geçmiş ve ticarethane olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu dönemde yapı, bazı değişikliklere uğramıştır. Daha sonra onarılarak tekrar ibadete açılmıştır. Kare planlı asıl ibadet alanı; üçgen motifleri veren bir kuşak üzerine oturan, dıştan sekizgen kasnaklı, kurşun kaplı tek bir kubbe ile örtülüdür. Kuzeybatı köşesinde yer alan minareye son cemaat yerindeki bir kapıdan çıkılmaktadır. Minarenin silindirik tuğla gövdesi ve peteği yeni yapılmıştır. Caminin batısındaki mezarlığın ucunda, zarif biçimli bir çeşme vardır.
