Üftade Camii, after being commissioned by Üftade Mahmud Muhiddin, who is known to have died in 1580, was damaged in the 1855 earthquake and rebuilt in 1869 by Serazkar Rıza Paşa. As the mosque was destroyed in various earthquakes, it was rebuilt by his grandson İbrahim.
