15. yüzyılda İspanya’nın Mayorka Adası’ndan Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’na sığınan Seferad Yahudileri tarafından inşa edilmiştir. Sinagoga terk ettikleri adanın anısına Mayor adı verilmiştir. 1975 yılına kadar ibadete açık bulunan Mayor Sinagog’u 2004 yılında restore edilerek kültür merkezi olarak hizmet vermeye başlamıştır.
