Atatürk House Museum is a mansion built in the late 19th century and was purchased by Bursa Municipality and presented to Atatürk during his second visit to Bursa on 20-24 January 1923. This mansion, which was donated by Atatürk to Bursa Municipality in 1938 and transferred to the Ministry of Culture in 1968, was converted into a museum and opened to visitors on 29 October 1973, in the 50th year of the Republic.
