Atatürk Evi Müzesi, 19'uncu yüzyıl sonlarında yapılmış bir köşk olup Atatürk'ün 20-24 Ocak 1923 tarihinde Bursa'ya gerçekleştirdiği ikinci ziyaretinde Bursa Belediyesi tarafından satın alınarak Atatürk'e hediye edilmiştir. 1938'de Atatürk tarafından Bursa Belediyesi'ne hibe edilen ve 1968'de Kültür Bakanlığı’na devredilen bu köşk, 29 Ekim 1973'te Cumhuriyet'in 50'inci yılında müzeye dönüştürülerek ziyarete açılmıştır.
Müzenin birinci katında kabul salonu ile buraya açılan dinlenme odası, ikinci katında ise yatak odaları ve çalışma odaları bulunmaktadır. Köşkte bulunan eşyaların tamamına yakını, Atatürk'ün burada kaldığı sürede kullandığı orijinal eşyalardır. Köşk, Bursa'daki sivil mimari örneklerinin en önemlilerinden biridir.
