Adını bulunduğu Konca yöresinden alır. Hem karaya hem de denize hakimdir. MS. II. yüzyılda Roma Dönemi'nde yapılmış olan bir mezar yapısıdır. Bölgede “Roma Mezarı” olarak anılmaktadır. Mezar Bithynia Bölgesi'nde karşımıza çıkan diğer lahitlere benzer bir formda yapılmıştır. 1745 yılında buradan geçmiş olan Seyyah Charles de Peyssonel, lahdin bulunduğu mevkiden adının ‘Kongessi’ (Konca) olduğunu belirtmektedir. Lahdin denize bakan kısmında bir kitabe bulunmakta, diğer yüzünde ise kiline üzerinde bir erkek ve kadın figürü ile ayakta duran bir hizmetçi betimlenmiştir. Lahdin kitabesinde şu ifadeler yer almaktadır: “Artemata ve Artemidoros’un oğulları Poidonei ve Apollonios kızı Tatia yaşarken bu lahdi kendilerine hazırlattılar.
