Mustafa and Cem, who until now were thought to be in separate tombs, are buried together. When Fatih’s eldest son, Şehzade Mustafa, died in 1474 near Bor District of Niğde while returning from the conquest of the fortresses around Konya, he was brought to Bursa and buried first in his uncle Alaattin Bey's tomb, then in his own tomb built in 1479.
