The structure is an open-sided tomb with a very regular square plan, measuring 4.46x4.46 meters externally, with a dome resting on pointed arches connecting piers built of stone and brick. Wooden tie beams are located just below the springing level of the arches. The exterior of the dome, which has a two-tier sawtooth cornice, is covered with lead.
