Saruhanoğulları Beyliği’nin en önemli yapılarındandır. Muzafereddin İshak Bey tarafından 1366 yılında Mimar Emet Bin Osman’a yaptırılmıştır. Manisa Ulu Cami, Beylikler Dönemi’nin en önemli ve ilgi çekici cami planı olarak gösterilmektedir. Sipil Dağı kuzey eteğinde kurulan külliye; cami, medrese, türbe ve kuzeydoğusundaki hamamdan oluşmaktadır. Cami enine dikdörtgen bir plana sahip olup sekizgen ayak sistemi üzerine oturan bir büyük kubbeyle örtülmüştür. Tek minareli olan caminin hakiki kündekari tekniği ile yapılmış olan minberi Beylikler Dönemi Türk ahşap oymacılığının şaheserlerinden biridir. Minber Manisa Müzesi' nde korunmaktadır. “Fethiye Medresesi” adıyla anılan medrese, caminin batı bitişiğinde tek eyvanlı, iki katlı olarak camiden on yıl kadar sonra aynı mimar tarafından yapılmıştır. Kentin en eski medresesi olan yapının kuzeye bakan taç kapısının her iki yanında birer çeşme bulunmaktadır. Cami ile medrese arasındaki geçidin güney duvarında açılan bir kapıyla girilen türbede bulunan dört sandukanın İshak Çelebi ve ailesine ait olduğu sanılmaktadır. Külliyenin hamamı ise “Çukur Hamam” olarak bilinmekte olup, külliyeye gelir getirmesi amacıyla yapıldığı vakfiyesinden anlaşılmaktadır. Hamam 2006 yılında restore edilmiştir.
