Sukaypark, Turkey’s first cable water ski facility built by Bursa Osmangazi Municipality, hosted the 2012 Cable Wakeboard (water skiing) Turkey Championship. Sukaypark, which is Turkey’s first cable water ski facility and pioneered the development of this sport in Turkey, had previously also hosted World and European Championships, certifying that it is an important center in this field in Europe. The facility, where thousands of athletes water ski every year, continues to be one of Bursa’s most tourist-attracting centers. It also hosted the 2009 Wakeboard World Championship.
