Türbe, 1854 depreminde tümüyle yıkıldığı için 1863 yılında, Sultan Abdülaziz tarafından tekrar yaptırtılmıştır. Dört kalın sütunun taşıdığı sivri kemerlerin üzerine oturtulmuş bir kubbe ve tonozla örtülü bulunan yapının içi sıvalıdır. Türbe, Bizans Kilisesi’nin bir kısmının üzerine inşa edildiği için zeminde yer yer mozaikler bulunmaktadır.
