Koza Hanı

This han, located between Ulu Camii and Orhan Camii, was commissioned by Bayezit II in 1490 in order to generate income for charitable buildings in Istanbul. It is Bursa's most beautiful han and the one most intensively used today. This han, whose walls were built of brick and stone, is a two-storey structure arranged around a rectangular courtyard. On the east side of this han, there is a second courtyard section containing stables and storage rooms.
