The waterfall, located 8 kilometres from Antalya city centre in the direction of Lara, is also known as "Karpuzkaldıran". It pours its waters into the sea from a height of 40 metres via the Lara road where the Düden River reaches the sea.

With the spraying of the massive water, it creates a cloud of mist over the sea. The nearby Gençlik Parkı is an ideal viewing point for the waterfall scenery. The park also has a cafeteria, car park and picnic area, and boat tours are organized near the waterfall.
