İnşa kitabesi bulunmayan caminin, yapılış tarihi de kesin olarak bilinmemekle birlikte 1922-23 yıllarında vuku bulan mübadelede Paragia-Pazariotissa kilisesi iken camiye çevrilmiş ve bugünkü adını almıştır. Daha sonra kuzeydoğu köşesine bir minare inşa edilen Cami, 17 Ağustos 1999 depreminde orta derece hasar görmesi nedeni ile bir süre ibadete kapatılmıştır. Cami, 307 metrekare alan üzerine 240 metrekare olarak, doğu-batı doğrultusunda, dikdörtgen planda yapılmıştır. Orta mekanı bir büyük kubbe ve dört yarım kubbe ile tamamlanmıştır. Tek şerefeli minaresi bulunan caminin, içeriden merdivenle çıkılan bir mahfili ve avluda bir abdest alma yeri mevcuttur. Doğu-batı doğrultusunda dikdörtgen planlı yapı, gelişmiş kapalı Yunan haçı şemasını yansıtır.
