16 yüzyıl önce Bizans İmparatorluğu Justinianos tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Afet ve savaşlar nedeni ile zamanla toprağa gömülmüş olan Kurşunlu Hamam, 1900 yılında Osmanlı Padişahı Abdülhamit’in emriyle onarılmıştır. Hamamın üstü kurşunla kaplı olduğu için Kurşunlu Hamam adını almıştır. Banyonun dış cephesinde mermer üzerine Osmanlıca yazılmış bir kitabe bulunmaktadır. Valide Hamamı Bizans Kralı Constantinus döneminde 6 kubbeli olarak yapılmıştır. Halen 3 kubbesi yoktur. Osmanlı döneminde Sultan Mecid tarafından onarılmış ve annesi burada tedavi gördüğünden Valide Hamamı adını almıştır. Banyonun buharlı oda bölümünde mermer üzerinde Osmanlıca bir kitabe yer alır. Ayrıca Çınar otelin önünde Doğu Çınarı olarak anılan Çınar ağacı Anıt Ağaç tescil edilmiştir.
