Adana- Ankara Karayolu’nun Tarsus girişinin kuzeyindeki bu köprünün, eskiden yirmibir gözlü olduğu söylenirken bugün sadece üç gözü görülebilmektedir. 6.yüzyılda Bizans imparatoru Iustinianus tarafından Tarsus (Berdan) Çayı üzerinde yaptırılmıştır. O dönemde köprü geçişinden para alındığı için “Baç” adı verilmiştir. Selçuklular tarafından da onarılan köprü artık kullanılmamaktadır.
Çevresinde yapılan temizlik kazısından sonra mevcutta bulunan üç kemerden ikisinin yuvarlak birisinin sivri kemerli olduğu açığa çıkmıştır. Bu yuvarlak kemerlerden birisi küçük diğeri daha büyüktür. Sağır olan açıklıktan yatay konulmuş dokuz adet mermer sütun görülebilmektedir. Kullanılan taşlar çentikli yüzeyli ve hafif bosajlıdır.
