Başından geçen maceraların sembolü olarak parmağındaki yüzüğün taşında biri erkek olan diğeri dişi iki aslanın arasında genç bir çocuk işlenmiştir. Cesedin Yahudiler tarafından çalınmaması için Ömer’in emri üzerine önceki yerine derin bir şekilde mezarı yeniden kazılmış ve üzerinden de Berdan Nehri’nden gelen ufak bir çayın suyu geçirilerek hiç kimsenin mezara el sürmemesi sağlanmıştır. Böylece mezar emniyete alınmıştır.
