Türbe caddesi üzerinde çarşı içinde bulunan bu cami, son Osmanlı mimarisinin barok üslûbuyla ortaya koyduğu önemli bir eserdir. Câmii, ilk defa 1671-1676 yıllarında Osmanlı Padişahı IV. Sultan Mehmed Han'ın muhasibi Damat Mustafa Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. 1876 yılında çıkan bir yangın sonucu tamamen yanan câmi, vakıf gelirleri ve Sultan Abdülaziz'in katkıları ile 1897 yılında tekrar inşa edilmiş ve Sultan Abdülaziz’e ithafen Aziziye Camii adı verilmiştir.
