Located to the east of Konya Alâeddin Hill, within a large park, the Şems-i Tebrizi Tomb and Masjid are adjacent to each other. The tomb is in the style of classical Seljuk kümbets. Its top is covered with a lead roof that was added later, and there is a large sarcophagus under the dome, where it is accepted that the remains of Şems-i Tebrizi are located. The Tomb and Masjid of Şems-i Tebrizi, who holds a very important place in the intellectual life of Hz. Mevlâna, is one of the most visited places in Konya.
