Built during the reign of Sultan Kılıçarslan III (1156-1192), it was repaired and expanded by Sultan Alâeddin Keykubad. Another name for it is Alâeddin Köşkü. The walls of the pavilion, which was built as a two-storey structure, are decorated with tiles and inscription borders. In recent years, restoration project works have been continuing in light of the finds uncovered as a result of excavation works carried out by the Konya Museum Directorate.

The walls of the pavilion, which was built as a two-storey structure, are decorated with tile and inscription borders. In recent years, restoration project works have been continuing in the light of the finds uncovered as a result of excavation works carried out by the Konya Museum Directorate. It is a very important Seljuk palace structure that inspired the palaces of Bursa, Edirne and Topkapı, and especially the Justice Towers.
