Nilüfer İlçesi sınırlarında, Nilüfer Çayı’nın kollarından biri üzerinde bulunan köprüyü Çelebi Sultan Mehmet’in kızı Selçuk Hatun 1465-1466’da yaptırmıştır. Eski Bursa-Karacabey yolu üzerinde yer alan köprü, Nilüfer Çayı’nın tanzim edilip akış yönünün değiştirilmesi ile terk edilerek, önemini yitirmiş ve zamanla bir kısmı yıkılmıştır. Köprünün iki kitabesi bulunmaktadır. Bugün bu kitabeler Bursa Türk ve İslam Eserleri Müzesi’ndedir. 1762, 1776, 1847’de onarıldığı sicillerde kayıtlıdır.
