Kartalkaya Kayak Merkezi, the most important winter tourism center of our country, is located 38 kilometers southeast of Bolu city center.
Kartalkaya Kayak Merkezi is located within the "Bolu - Köroğlu Dağı Culture and Tourism Protection and Development Region" declared by the Council of Ministers. The 5 facilities in the region operate with a total of 1600 beds during the winter season between December and April. Within Kartalkaya hotels, there are a total of 25 pistes of various slopes and difficulty levels, with a total of 18 mechanical facilities in 2 main ski areas. The total length of the pistes reaches 40 kilometers. There are 5 privately owned accommodation facilities in Kartalkaya. The hotels have all kinds of activities and comfort. The total capacity of the mechanical facilities is 8000 people/hour. The facilities have experienced ski and snowboard instructors and staff. First aid and health services are provided within each hotel. All kinds of ski equipment can be rented from the facilities. Turkey's largest snowparks at European standards are located in Kartalkaya. In the area there are main ramp-kicker line, bordercross, rail line and rail-boxes of various difficulty levels.
