Location: It is a small and charming artificial dam lake among the forests 13 km south of Bolu.
Transportation: Transportation to the lake can be provided by municipal public buses departing from Bolu city center and by Seben and Kıbrıscık district minibuses.
Features: The lake, with an elevation of 1206 m, has an area of 4.5 hectares and a circumference of 1,300 meters. The lake, surrounded by Scots pine and fir trees, has a magnificent view in every season. Right on the edge of the lake, which is covered with the extraordinary beauty of nature, there is a charming building that is the guesthouse of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. Around the lake, apart from this facility, there is a restaurant called a country casino, a country restaurant, a cafeteria, a buffet, and a masjid. The lake and its surroundings are under protection by the National Parks as a “Nature Park.” Vehicles are not allowed into the surroundings of this very charming and small lake. At certain times of the year, sport angling can be practiced in the lake for a fee. Throughout the year, it is visited by local and foreign visitors for daily trips, sightseeing, resting, and picnicking.
