The fountain, located in Merkez, Semerkant Mahallesi, on sheet 9, block 225, parcel 1, stands on a junction in the middle of the road. It is set on a platform about 10 cm high. The fountain, with a rectangular prism body, has a water reservoir. On the broad faces where the fountain panels are located, there is a surrounding of pilasters at the corners, whose bases step onto the bench in stages, and a profiled stone molding connecting them at the top and resting on cushion-shaped capitals. On the panels formed between the upper molding and the roof, traces of inscriptions that are not present now can be seen. The fountain panels are plain; on one face there is a tap opening, and on the other face there is a simple running tap. On one façade of the fountain there is a trough carved from stone. On one of its narrow faces there is a small window opened for checking the water in the reservoir. The top of the fountain was later covered with an overhanging flat concrete roof.
