Located 12 kilometres off the road at the end of the Bozüyük-Eskişehir highway, the monument was built on Metris Tepe, where the İnönü Battles were won and which the great leader Atatürk referred to in the congratulatory telegram he sent to İsmet İnönü, saying, "There you defeated not only the enemy, but also the nation's ill fate," in order to keep alive the sublime memories of our martyrs.
