It is the historic bridge that gave its name as Taşköprü to Taşköprü Town in Çiftlikköy District of Yalova Province, and it is still in use. It was built of cut stone and set on piers shaped like semicircles over a stream flowing to the north of the village. Although the exact date of the bridge is unknown, it is rumored to be approximately 400 years old. Due to its historical value, the bridge was registered as a cultural property that must be protected by the Istanbul No. II Council for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets with decision no. 3026 dated 2.3.1993.

It was established in 1902 by Turkish families who came from Bulgaria, and its name comes from a 400-year-old Ottoman bridge east of the town.
