Significant finds were reached in the preliminary examinations carried out since 1999 and in the surface surveys and excavations in several areas, and it was understood that Nif Dağı hosted various cultures. Although the main remains are structures belonging to the Hellenistic and Byzantine Periods, the ceramic finds recovered both on the surface and in the excavations are dated from the 8th century BC to the 13th century AD.
