There is no inscription belonging to the mosque. Sources state that the structure was built by the Mengücek Bey Muzafferüddin Muhammed. Built in a masonry system, the structure has a plan close to a square. Rubble stone with thick joints was used as the material in the exterior walls. The prayer hall is covered with a dome with an octagonal drum, transitioned by pointed tromps. On the north façade of the prayer hall, there is a three-bay narthex, and to the east of the narthex there is its minaret. The sides of the narthex, arranged in the form of a portico, were kept closed. The narthex, opening outward with three pointed arches connecting two monolithic stone columns, is covered with three domes with pendentive transitions. Since the structure remained 3. below the level of the road passing to its west, the narthex is reached by descending a stone staircase. The minaret located to the east of the narthex has a stone base and a brick shaft, and has a single balcony. The corners of the minaret's base transition section are chamfered.
The minaret, which was damaged in the earthquake, was restored in accordance with its original form by the General Directorate of Foundations. Below the balcony, an appearance in the form of a sawtooth cornice was created by arranging the bricks in different directions. Above the petek section, which rises by tapering after the balcony, there is a conical cap. The entrance door, located in the middle of the north façade of the main space, is square in form, and the entrance opening is emphasized in the form of a pointed-arched niche. There is one window on each side of the door. These windows are rectangular in form, with flat lintel stones, and have a pointed relieving arch above. In addition, the structure has two more windows each on its east and south façades. All of the windows are rectangular in form, with flat lintel stones and iron grilles. The west façade of the structure was arranged completely blind. In the dome drum, which was kept high in proportion to the structure, there are four square-form windows with round-arched openings. The single-direction gallery located to the north of the prayer hall is reached by a staircase located to the east of the entrance. The gallery, which has a kiosk section, is supported in the middle by two wooden posts. The mihrab niche is semi-circular in form. The minbar is wooden and was made later.
