Osmanlı Sultanı Yıldırım Bayezid döneminden kalmadır. Restore edilen eserin, kapı üstündeki kitabesinde "hayırlı işler ve Allah rızası için" 1396 yılında inşa edildiği belirtilmektedir. İstanbul-Susurluk Irmağı-Uluabat Gölü güzergahında, tarihte nehir taşımacılığının dinlenme ve konaklama üslerinden biri olarak vatandaşlara ücretsiz hizmet veren Issız Han, Osmanlı Dönemi'nin güzel bir kervansaray örneğidir. Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından 2008 yılında yap-işlet-devret sistemiyle restore edilmiş ve 9 odalı otel ve restoran olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Halen otel olarak kullanılan hanı, gezmek isteyen ziyaretçilere imkan sağlanmaktadır.
