It is a canyon valley formed on karstic rocks located within the borders of Döşemealtı district. The canyon is 2 km long, 20–30 m wide, and 115 meters high. Travertine rocks are widespread in the area. The travertines have been deeply eroded by the effect of waters coming from the Taurus Mountains, and the canyon is estimated to have formed in 1 million years.
