From its surviving inscription, it is understood that Evdir Han was commissioned by I. İzzeddin Keykavus Bin Keyhusrev in the years H. 607-616 / A.D. 1210-1219. It has a nearly square rectangular plan measuring 67x55 square meters. All of the outer walls are of cut stone, and the upper covering is rubble stone. The portal of the structure, which belongs to the group of hans with four iwans, is particularly striking. The upper two corners of the portal, which projects forward from the outer wall, have collapsed. On the outermost side there is a thin border, and inside it there is a thick border row of stars opening to infinity. The upper parts of both of these have disappeared. The third border row consists of geometric shapes. The pointed arch of the portal is shaped as if it were being carried by small columns. On the two side walls of the niche continuing inward, there is a small mihrabiye on each side. The upper part of the portal niche is filled with muqarnas, and the door is finished with a depressed arch. Around the inner courtyard of the han, there are arcades with pointed arches built of cut stone masonry, resting on thick cut stone piers. All four iwans are covered with pointed barrel vaults. There are cells in the form of enclosed spaces opening onto the arcades.
