Çorlu Castle, located in Hıdırağa Neighborhood of Çorlu District, Tekirdağ Province, was built in the Middle Ages in order to prevent raids and attacks that could come via the Balkans and Europe and pass into Anatolia. The castle was built with rubble stone, brick and Horasan mortar. From the castle, the foundations of two bastions, an area thought to have been the probable castle entrance based on traces of brick arches, and the connected rampart walls have survived to the present day.
