In addition, two more minarets were added to the southeast of the mosque and to its northwest corner. According to its inscriptions, the mosque was repaired by Muhammed Mes’ud (1816) and Mahmut son of Mahmut (1852); rooms were added to the mosque courtyard by Urfalı Ahmet Bican Paşa (1855) and Derviş Musa (1887). Mevlid-i Halil Camii was last restored in 1951 under the leadership of Urfalı Sufi Sheikh Müslüm Hafız with the support of the public. It is accepted by the public that the water coming out of Mevlid-i Halil Cave is the most healing water after zamzam.
