İl merkezine 13 kilometre mesafedeki Bayadı Köyü sınırlarında bulunan sivri bir kaya üzerine kurulmuş 1. derece arkeolojik ve doğal sit alanı olup, antik bir yerleşmedir. 250 - 300 adet merdiven gün ışığına çıkarılmıştır. Kazı esnasında bulunan pişmiş topraktan çatı kiremitleri, duvar örgüsü seramik parçaları incelenmiş ve M.Ö. II. ve I. yüzyılda yerleşim yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. T.C. Ordu Valiliği ve Müze Müdürlüğü tarafından 2010 ve 2011 yıllarında arkeolojik kazı çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu alan, Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde İlk arkeolojik kazı alanıdır. Kazılar sonucu 3000 yıl öncesine ait tapınak ve kale duvarlarına rastlanmıştır. 2012 yılında da kazılara devam edilmiştir. Arkeolojik Kazı çalışmalarında kullanılmak üzere “Kazı Evi” hizmete açılmıştır.
