Kocaeli Mevlevi evi, Sekapark alanı içerisinde Seka Lojmanları olarak bilinen yapılardan birinin yenilenmesinin (restorasyon) yapılması suretiyle oluşturulmuştur. Ev iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, Mevlevi zikrinin güzel sanatlardan ebru ve hat çalışmalarının yaşayan müze anlayış içerisinde düzenlenerek ziyaretçilerin dikkatine sunulan alandan ve Mevleviliğin tanıtım yapıldığı bir sunum odasından oluşmaktadır. Burada sinevizyon ve barkovizyon gösteri izleme küçük topluluklara sunum yapma imkanı da mevcuttur. İkinci bölüm ise, bilim ,sanat, sohbet toplantılarının yapılabileceği, şiir, edebiyat ve anma gecelerinin düzenlenebileceği iki ayrı salondan müteşekkildir.
