Kayseri Archaeology Museum is located inside Kayseri Castle in the city center.

In Kayseri, which has hosted many civilizations throughout history, the first museum was established in 1930 for both the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage. As the number of artifacts found in Kayseri and its surroundings increased day by day, the museum served in different buildings over time; in 2019, it was moved to its current location and opened to visitors.

The museum contains many artifacts collected, purchased and donated from around Kayseri, as well as especially the artifacts unearthed during the Kültepe excavations. The artifacts are exhibited in the museum in chronological order.
