The castle, located in Örenkaya Köyü approximately 8 kilometers inland from Tirebolu District, was built on a very high natural, pointed rock overlooking the seashore. Bedrama Kalesi was placed under protection by the decision of the Trabzon Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board dated 18.12.1992 and numbered 1534. Although the construction date of the castle is unknown, the view that it is a Medieval structure is widespread. Extending in the north-south direction, the castle has a plan close to a rectangle. The castle, which sits on local rocks, is reached from the southeast by a very narrow footpath. The inside of the castle slopes toward the north. Near the northern wall of the castle, there are two wells and a cistern. The surroundings of the well are marked with square stones.
