Sivrihisarlı Şeyh Baba Yusuf’un İstanbul’daki II. Bayezid Medresesi’nin açılışını yaptığı, Bayezid Camii’nde ilk cuma namazında açılış dersi verdiği belirtilir. İlçe merkezindeki cami Şeyh Baba Yusuf tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Kitabesine göre inşa tarihi 1492’dir. Bina plan olarak tek kubbelidir. Üç kubbeli bir son cemaat yeri ve sağında caminin zarif bir minaresi ve önünde çeşmesi vardır. Son cemaat cephesi ve minare kesme taştan, diğer kısımları kesme taş-üç sıra tuğladan inşa edilmiştir. Son cemaat yeri ince iki yan duvarı uzantısıyla ve kare şeklinde iki yığma ayaktan meydana gelmiş ve üç kubbelidir.
Caminin en çarpıcı özelliklerinden biri duvarlarıdır. Duvar kalınlıkları son cemaat duvarında 1.32 metre, diğer duvarlarda 1.48 metre olarak ölçülmüştür. Bu cami 1343’te Hacı Osman oğlu Hoca İbrahim’in yaptırmış olduğu mescidin yerine inşa edilmiştir. Caminin yanındaki türbede Şeyh Baba Yusuf’un babası Halil Hoca ve oğlu Veli Hamdi Baba’nın kabri bulunmaktadır.
