Dede Mahallesi’nde bulunan yapı 19. yüzyıla ait ahşap sivil mimarinin tipik bir örneğidir. Birinci dönem milletvekillerinden Halil İbrahim Efendi (Sipahioğlu)’ye ait olan ve “Yeşil Efendi Evi” adıyla tanınan ev, Atatürk’ün burada misafir edilmiş olmasından dolayı da ayrı bir önem taşımaktadır. Evin selamlık bölümü, yapılan restorasyon ve düzenlemelerden sonra 1984 yılında ziyarete açılmıştır. Bağdadi tarzda inşa edilen ev, bodrum ve zemin üzerinde yükselen üst kattan ibarettir. Tavan, kapılar ve duvarlardaki ahşap işçiliği görülmeye değer. Cumbalı ve ocaklı olan baş oda süslemeleri diğer mekânlardan daha zengindir. Odunpazarı Belediyesi tarafından 2006’da restore edilerek 19. yüzyıl yaşantısını yansıtacak şekilde düzenlenen Osmanlı Evi’nde birçok etnografik ürün görülebilir. Restoran da bulunan Osmanlı Evi’nin bahçesi, yemek ya da kahve için iyi bir adrestir.
