The museum, created in the house used as the headquarters building of Western Front Commander İsmet İnönü during the War of Independence, was opened in 2001. Photographs covering the İnönü Battles, front orders issued by İnönü and other commanders, weapons provided by Akşehir 1185.Sefer Malzeme Ana Depo Komutanlığı, and weapons and military materials collected from the battlefield by the İnönü District Governorate are exhibited in the museum. In addition, copies of İsmet İnönü’s official uniforms and local ethnographic works brought from the ethnography section of Eskişehir ETİ Archaeology Museum can be seen. The headquarters house has two floors above the ground floor; the ground floor building material is stone, and the other two floors are in the bağdadi technique. The front and rear facades of the second floor have bay windows. The building is an example of Ottoman Period civil architecture and is registered as a single structure.
