Kardüz Plateau has one of Düzce's important hiking routes. The 24-kilometer route between Aksu Stream and Kardüz Plateau is notable for its endemic vegetation and wildlife. This route requires good fitness, long hiking experience, and route-finding ability.
There is strong participation from all over Turkey in the Traditional Kardüz Plateau festivities held every year in July.
