At the beginning of 1945, he first served as an honorary instructor at the Merkez Kuran Kursu, and in 1946 he carried out this duty permanently.

Hafız Hasan Şen Efendi passed away in 1982 on the first day of Kurban Bayramı at his home in Kültür Mahallesi in Düzce.
