It has a rectangular plan in the north-south direction. The inn is entered from the south through a large double-leaf door with a round arch. In some parts of the inn, which was built with rubble stone, brick was used, cut stone was used in the corners and window frames, and wood was used in the porticoes. Gerede Keçi Castle: It is on a hill dominating its surroundings on Arkut Mountain, 5 km. north of Gerede. The castle, remaining from the Byzantine period, was restored in 1992. According to the legend about the castle, when the city was attacked, the people would take refuge in the castle together with their goods and animals and defend themselves. Again in such a situation, the enemy settled around the castle and attacked the castle during the day but could not succeed. The attacks continued for days and a food shortage began in the castle. One night, the people there lit candles attached to the horns of all the goats in the castle and released them outside the castle. The enemy, thinking that a great army was suddenly coming upon them, fled from there and scattered, and the people of Gerede were saved from the enemy thanks to the goats. The name of the castle also came from this.
Gerede Asar Castle: It is on a rocky hill dominating all directions near the villages of Örencik, Çağış and Akçaşehir, 20 km. east of Gerede.
