Hava Şehitliği, Şehir Asrî Mezarlığı'nın ortasında, kübik bir kaide üzerinde yükselen kübik yükseltilerden oluşan bir anıt ile çevresinde şehitlere ait mezarların bulunduğu bir şehitliktir. 24 Temmuz 1922 sabahı Cemal ve Bahattin adındaki pilotların kırık dökük uçaklarıyla Kurtuluş Savaşı'na katılmaları ve Gazlıgöl’de uçaklarının düşmesiyle şehit olmaları anısına, 1936 yılında yapılmıştır. Daha sonraki şehitlerimiz de buraya defnedilmiştir.
