Tekirdağ Valilik Binası Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün 23 Ağustos 1928'de Tekirdağ'a ikinci ziyareti kapsamında yeni Türk alfabesini bu Hükümet Konağı’nda Türk halkına tanıtmıştır.
Binanın ön kısmı 1912-1913 yılında Mutasarrıf Selanikli Hüsnü Bey tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Arka kısmı ve önündeki beton bahçe 1934 yılında Vali Haşim İşcan tarafından yaptırılmıştır.
Binanın arka bahçesi ile arka kısımdaki 3 kat ilavesi 1946 yılında Vali Ferit Nomer tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Binanın yüz ölçümü 2.051 metrekaredir. Binanın arsası ile birlikte toplam alanı 9254 metrekaredir.
