Rüstempaşa Cami

The mosque, built by Mimar Sinan in 1552-1553, is located in the city center. The structure, which was established in its time as the Rüstem Paşa Külliyesi, consisted of a madrasa, imaret, mosque and caravanserai. In the endowment deed of the külliye, there were also a double bath, school, shops, depots and a tannery. However, only the rebuilt bath, the mosque and part of the madrasa have survived from the külliye to the present day.
