İstanbul - İpsala yolunun üzerinde olan Marmarareğlisi, tarihi eserleri, deniz sporlarına elverişli koyu, plajları, balığı, İstanbul'a yakınlığı, çok güzel bir turistik yol üzerinde bulunması, dikkati çeken ve hoşa giden yüksek yarım adası ile büyük turistik değerler taşımaktadır. Marmaraereğlisi Yunan, Roma, Bizans eserleri ile doludur. Yarım ada adeta bir açık hava müzesi görünümünde olup, şehrin kuzey ve batı kenarını çeviren dış surların yer yer hala kalıntıları mevcuttur.
