Tekirdağ’ın Malkara ilçesi merkezinde çarşı içinde bulunan yapı, 893 (1488) yılında inşa edilmiştir. Camii Osmanlı Devletinin Rumeli’de yapmış olduğu camilerin en eski örneklerinden biridir. Kare planlı cami, kesme taştan inşa edilmiştir ve tek kubbelidir. Halen Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğünün mülkiyetinde olan Gazi Ömer Bey Camii ve Türbesi tescilli olup korunması gerekli bir taşınmaz kültür varlığıdır.
Fatih zamanında yaşamış olan Gazi Ömer Bey; babası Mora Fatihi Gazi Turhan Bey'in yanında yetişmiş, savaş meydanlarında sayısız kahramanlıklar göstermiş gözü pek bir kumandandır. Gazi Ömer Bey’in türbesi avluda caminin hemen sol (kuzeydoğu) tarafında yer alır. Kapısı üzerindeki bulunan üç satırlık kitâbe 908 (1502) tarihlidir. Yapılan son restorasyonlar neticesinde her iki yapıda temiz ve bakımlı hale getirilmiş olup ibadet ve ziyarete açık durumdadır.
