Orijinalinde kare planlı olan bu yapı 1970’li yıllarda yol genişletme çalışmaları kapsamında kuzey tarafı yıkılarak güney yönüne doğru çekilmiş ve bugün enine planlı görünümde olup, harim kısmı ancak 2 saf sığabilecek kadar kalmıştır. Ön cephesi kesme taş malzemeden inşa edilmiş olan bu yapının üzeri ahşap çatı ve alaturka kiremit ile kapatılmıştır. Mescit, 1923 yılında neşredilen Hüseyin Hilmi ULUĞ’un Sinop Kitabeleri adlı eserinde giriş kapısının doğu tarafında yer aldığı belirtilen ve bugün yerinde olmayan kitabeye göre H 754 (M 1353/1354)senesinde Uslu Beyoğlu İsmail Bey tarafından yaptırılmıştır. H 1324 (M 1906/1907)senesinde Fetih Baba tarafından tamir ettirilmiştir. Tamir kitabesi kapının üstünde bulunmaktadır.
